Writen specially in 1982 for the « Quatuor de Saxophones Contemporain » who created it in the same year in Nuremberg, this work uses the actual forms taking into account the new playing styles for saxophone (shrill, multiple sounds and micro-intervals).

« Aube Marine » plays on colours, contrasts, rich tones and, as the title shows, one assists to a progression from semi-tones to an explosion of light.
